David Charles

David has over 30 years’ experience as a finance and real estate executive including 10 years as CFO and then CEO and Managing Director of ASX listed REIT Hotel Property Investments (HPI).

He was a Key Person and Responsible Manager under HPI’s Australian Financial Services Licence and served on the group’s Compliance Committee and as Company Secretary. David qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG and formerly held senior finance roles at Citibank UK, ANZ Bank and the Coles Group, and has a strong background in investment analysis and governance. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
